I am so blessed to have met you.
I have nothing but positive feedback from these ads (except for the 1 store that NDP campaign office is next to asked the owner to delete it and he refused and said ” I Am not deleting anything just like your ad is up there her’s will stay” he also assured me he is a resident in my riding and because he met me shook my hand he will vote for me and have his family vote for me). This definitely adds a personal touch when you visit their locations, you make the owners feel great and that you care (which I do).
Seeing most of my signs were either destroyed or removed, this was a way to get in front of the local people. I walked around the Art Fest in Pickering and I had locals telling me they recognized my face from the local convenience stores. I walk into a store and the ad is playing and customers are offering their hand to shake my hand and say thank you. This was BY FAR the best strategy I used in my campaign as I am getting in front of MOST of the people in my riding. Seeing I cannot make it to 100k of people, this is still promoting me across the community.
If I run again I will spend my money on digital ads, after the upsetting sign situation I do not think I would want to expose my time, energy and money into that project to have them destroyed. It was heartbreaking for me and my little girl. Now she walks around Pickering and see’s mommy on the screen in the stores and Dr’s offices and is so proud no one can delete her mom.
My experience thus far has been positive and let me tell you, people who I have personally met, store employees and owners have all said I will vote for you!
Next run I would like to be on ALL the big screens over the 401 and Go Station!!!!
Remember I am in it to win it!!!!
Thank you Jim,
